Playground in the Sky

This piece came from simply playing and experimenting with layers, textures, colour and the idea of a landscape without worrying too much about where it was going. The mountains, clouds, little details and scattered shimmer all came together along the way, almost like creating a little world of my own.

Sometimes we forget that we’re allowed to play. Not everything has to have a purpose, make perfect sense or be done “the right way.” Sometimes it’s enough to follow your curiosity, add a little colour, try something new and see what happens.

That’s what I hope this piece brings to whoever eventually finds it, a little bit of colour, imagination and a reminder to leave some room for play.
