You’re Out of the Woods

This artwork is a playful little reminder of that moment when you realise things have shifted.

Sometimes we spend so long in a difficult season that we forget it won’t always feel that way. Then, slowly, things begin to move. We find ourselves somewhere different, maybe not exactly where we expected to be, but somewhere new nonetheless.

This piece was so much fun to create. I wanted it to feel whimsical, colourful and a little bit unexpected. For me, the tiny plants growing at the bottom are a quiet reminder that even after difficult seasons, something new can grow.

You don’t necessarily arrive somewhere perfect. Sometimes you just look around one day and realise… you’re out of the woods.
